…one year, just a summary. Come on, tell us about it. It’s all on my website, you can read it there. No, not everyone has acquired the taste of digital reading. How did the year start? As hectically as the one before ended. I think I was in Cologne. That was nice, as Cologne is just around the corner from the studio. I just hate travelling. No, really? Well okay, if I were to hold an exhibition in Tokyo or Sidney… but a German autobahn? Get international. I’ll do that someday. What then? Luxembourg, Freiburg Basle. So no more German autobahn. But a lot of points for speeding. Drive slowly! But I always have to get back quickly, there’s so much to do. It’s Berlin in March. So? I like it more every time. The Berliners like you more every time, too. Back to the studio, then what? Baden-Baden. How, where? Nope, I never thought I’d have to go there. And? Well, I found it.
How did you find it? Nice. Non-stop to Zurich. Do you already have a fan club? Huh, great idea. But I’ve always had to sign a lot of autographs. Then Wiesbaden? That was delayed. Instead, I took my first really long holiday. You really didn’t do anything? Yes, I had a few new ideas and turned them into reality! Back in Zurich for a brief, no, a very brief visit. But Wiesbaden. That was really nice. Really great! Okay, I’ve already got you. And Nuremburg? The sun shines, even when it’s raining. How? Everything shines in Nuremberg—the gallery, the team and the art. Oh, forget Cologne! The same gallery? No, really small instead of really big. And where else? Waldshut-Tiengen. And? Never been there myself. Next time! Where else did you go? Hamburg, Sweden, Belgium. Well… wasn’t exactly boring, was it? No, there was a bit of everything. A lot of fun, some trouble, bad hotels and good food. Good hotels and bad food. Nice visitors, a lot of visitors. There were sometimes a hundred people and I didn’t sell a single picture, other times there were on ten visitors and I almost sold out. A lot of visitors, but not just because of the food? You don’t get food everywhere. What would have to be changed? Everything and nothing at all. It’s not up to me. Things are ok now the way they are. Work isn’t everything. Oh, that’s new, coming from you. Hey, how many people can live from their art? No idea. Ask the artists’ social service, I pay loads to them …
